It authenticates to Google under least-privilege access scoped to the specific spreadsheets a workflow needs, stores those credentials encrypted under your own key, gates destructive writes behind an explicit confirmation, and writes an immutable audit record of every action. Lightbridge licenses the software and never operates it for you.
Because your own Claude drives it, model use runs through your own Anthropic account. A large share of spreadsheet work is structural: sort, dedupe, aggregate, pivot, format. Claude handles that by writing the formula and letting Google Sheets compute the result, so the arithmetic stays in your sheet.

Formulas the sheet computes
Claude writes a live formula, from a single cell to a filled-down column, and Google Sheets evaluates it in place. The result is a working spreadsheet, computed by Google rather than pasted in.
Pivots and aggregation
Group, sum, and pivot with SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, and pivot tables written as spreadsheet operations. The arithmetic runs in Google Sheets, so totals are exact and auditable.
Exact dedupe and key joins
Deduplicate a column on an exact key, or join two ranges on a shared identifier with a lookup. These run as spreadsheet operations against the sheets you allow.
Structure and formatting
Create, clear, and reorganize tabs, apply conditional formatting, add data validation, and build charts. Multiple non-contiguous ranges update in a single call, keeping large changes fast and atomic.
Bulk row appends
Append single or batched rows built from a structural operation, so a sheet grows from a repeatable step rather than from copy-paste.
Session or schedule
The connector runs interactively in a Claude session or unattended on a schedule, so the same logic powers an ad-hoc task and a recurring report.
